I've been working on throwing much larger...Even though I may not have the ability to fit them into the kiln, it has certainly been great practice and of course very fun! Alot of my work has revolved around altering the forms and mark making. The interruptive markings are a form of tactile communication, disrupting the mindless use of a cup…creating a piece that is unpredictable and outspoken your grasp. One of my goals these past few months have been trying new techniques and perfecting handles, lids, and teapots.... Rahna has also enjoyed her time in the studio =)
